The SGSCC Foundation’s New Projects
Helping Our Community Thrive
The SGSCC Foundation supports projects that create opportunities for learning, connection and belonging. Every donation helps us invest in initiatives that enrich lives, strengthen our community and create lasting impact.
As a not-for-profit Community College, your support helps bring these projects to life, creating opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, participate and thrive.
Projects and Initiatives
Elouera Redevelopment

A modern space for learning and connection.
The redevelopment of Elouera will create a welcoming, accessible and flexible space that supports learning, community programs and social connection. By improving accessibility and functionality, more people will be able to participate in classes, activities and events.
How your support makes a difference
Your contribution will help create a more accessible, welcoming and flexible space for learning, connection and community activities. Every donation brings us closer to delivering improvements that will benefit students and community groups for years to come.
Computers for Disability Vocational Students
Providing the technology needed for success.
Access to technology is essential for learning, independence and future employment. This project will provide laptops for students in our Disability Vocational Programs, helping them build digital skills, complete coursework and participate fully in their education.

How your support makes a difference
The laptops our students rely on for learning, coursework and building digital skills cost around $2,000 each, so every contribution, no matter the size, helps us move closer to providing students with the technology they need to participate confidently in their education and prepare for future opportunities.
Enhancing The Green

Creating a welcoming outdoor space for connection and community.
The Green is an important gathering place at SGSCC. With the addition of heating and an outdoor projector, the space will become more comfortable and versatile, supporting community activities, presentations and events throughout the year.
We’re also phasing out printed business cards in favour of digital business cards, helping minimise paper waste while modernising the way we connect and share information.
These changes not only reduce our environmental footprint but also improve efficiency and accessibility across the organisation.
How your support makes a difference
With outdoor heaters costing approximately $1,200 each, every donation contributes towards creating a more comfortable and welcoming space where our community can gather, learn, connect and enjoy shared experiences throughout the year.
Inclusive Gym Redevelopment
Building health, confidence and independence for everyone.
The Inclusive Gym Redevelopment will create a more accessible fitness and wellbeing space for people living with disability, seniors and community members with diverse needs. New equipment and inclusive design features will support participation, wellbeing and independence.

How your support makes a difference
Accessible gym equipment starts at around $1,100 per piece, and every contribution helps us create a more inclusive fitness and wellbeing space where people of all abilities can build confidence, improve their health and participate safely.
